Buckalew Hospitality was founded in Orlando, FL in April of 2005 as a hotel consulting and mystery shopping company, after purchasing Ultimate Hospitality. We acquired 7 hotel clients in the acquisition, mostly in the Orlando and South Florida market. Since then, we have expanded our services to over 45 hotels and conduct up to 50 evaluations per month. We have operations in Central Florida, Tampa, South Florida, Atlanta, Chicago, Washington DC, Charlotte, South California, Arizona, Canada, New York City and Newark, and boast a network of over 2600 mystery shoppers throughout the United States and Canada.
At the same time, Buckalew Hospitality would partner with meeting planners to provide on-site support to professionally planned meetings. We have worked side-by-side with planners to successfully run their on-site meeting operations. We assist with registration, transportation, hospitality desks, food and beverage and meeting and breakout management. In addition to professional on-site meeting management, we supply meeting planners with temporary on-site support staff to assist them in preparing meeting materials and bags, run hospitality and registration desks, monitor rooms, load buses and direct attendees. We have staffed meetings from 10 people to 5,000 people all over the country. We have access to over 5,000 independent temporary staff all over the country. Our team is well trained in hospitality and meeting operations and understand what it takes to run a successful meeting.
In May of 2010, we added full time professional meeting and event planning services to our portfolio. We can now assist you with site inspection and selection services, contract negotiations, menu selection, meeting room logistics, attendee registration and many other services to make your event a success.
